Small Groups | The Tigers will survey the teachers and the Lions to find out what is their favorite bread from a list. We will then create a graph from the results. | The Tigers will watch a video on how bread is made. We will then work on sequencing the steps of a bread recipe. | The Tigers will practice identifying the number 5 in English and Spanish. They will have the opportunity to identify the number in a number search. | The Tigers will practice identifying the letter X and it’s sound. Small Groups | The Tigers will be introduced to the letter X with a few examples of words that begin with the letter and watch an Olive and the Rhyme video introducing them to more words that begin with the letter. They will then trace the letter X with stickers. | The Tigers will get to do a number search and complete it together to focus on number 5. They will do a scavenger hunt and look for 5 blue items. | The Tigers will get to decorate an egg, themed for Valentine’s Day focusing on the shape of the week | The Tigers will be able to explore the different items we like to eat bread with and which ones we would like to try (An idea of what new things to try at home). | The Tigers will be able to do a water bead sensory activity. |
