We will read the book Room on the Broom. We will then act out the story using puppets.



The Tigers will be able to create a “BOO” craft using their handprints.


The Tigers  will practice identifying the number 13 in English and Spanish. They will have the opportunity to identify the number in a number search.


The Tigers will practice identifying the letter D and it’s sound. They will have the opportunity to explore different centers. 


The Tigers will be able play a matching game of pumpkin face. They will also get to play a tossing game.

The Tigers will be introduced to the letter Dd  with a few examples of words that begin with the letter and watch an Olive and the Rhyme video introducing them to more words that begin with the letter Dd. Then, the Tigers will do an art activity creating the letter Dd.



The Tigers will get to do a number search and then complete it together to focus on number 13. They will also  practice tracing the number using stickers.



The Tigers will get to create a witch using a cup.



The Tigers will get to create a fizzing pumpkin. 


The Tigers will get to create a candy corn man fall.

The Tigers will be able to create a movement cube. They will get to roll the cube and do the movement of a pet it lands on.


The Tigers  will practice identifying the number 11 in English and Spanish. They will have the opportunity to identify the number in a number search.


The Tigers will practice identifying the letter R and it’s sound. They will have the opportunity to explore different learning centers.


The Tigers will practice counting animals and identify the corresponding number.

As a class, we will create a KWL chart and find out what we know about pets. Then, we will create a  word wall with animals they think are pets.



The Tigers will be able to identify which animal is considered a pet. Then, they will place the picture of the animal on a graph.


The Tigers  will practice identifying the number 10 in English and Spanish. They will have the opportunity to identify the number in a number search.


The Tigers will practice identifying the letter H and it’s sound. They will have the opportunity to explore different centers. 


The Tigers will create their own house, made out of various shapes. They will explain what animal will live in their house.
