Small Groups | As the class, we will create a KWL chart and talk about what we know about bread. We will create a word wall of different types of bread. | The Tigers will be able to use unifix cubes and paint to make a collage. | The Tigers will practice identifying the number 4 in English and Spanish. They will have the opportunity to identify the number in a number search. | The Tigers will practice identifying the letter Y and it’s sound. They will have the opportunity to explore different centers. | The Tigers will survey the teachers and the Lions to find out what is their favorite bread from a list. They will do a scavenger hunt and look for 4 yellow items. | The Tigers review the characteristics of a square. They will cut pieces of paper and glue them to create a collage of a square. | The Tigers will be able to explore with puzzles that focus on matching uppercase and lowercase letters. | The Tigers will be able to participate in a germs experiment using bread. |
