Bees Collecting Pollen

 The Tigers pretended to be bees collecting pollen (pom poms) from a flower and filling up a honeycomb (paint trays).

Small Groups	The Tigers will be able to do an insect movement game. Afterwards, they will have the chance of free play.	The Tigers will be able to watch a video on how bees pollinate flowers. They will then pretend to be bees and use pincers to grab pom poms and fly them to the honeycomb.	The Tigers  will practice counting 1  in English and Spanish. They will then work in different math centers.	The Tigers will practice identifying the letter U and it’s sound. They will be able to create an umbrella	The Tigers will be able to watch a short video on how bees create honey. They will then create a honeycomb using yellow paint and bubble wrap.

Small Groups	The Tigers will be introduced to the letter U with a few examples of words that begin with the letter and watch an Olive and the Rhyme video introducing them to more words that begin with the letter.  They will then trace the letter U with stickers.	The Tigers will get to practice tracing their numbers 1 with pencil to focus on their pencil holding grip.	The Tigers will trace the triangle shape to practice drawing it. Then, they will get to play with playdough.	The Tigers will get to explore different activities involving all types of insects.	The Tigers will get to do extra free play.
