The Tigers will begin by learning what is the topic of the month. We will briefly talk about reduce, reuse, and recycle and what the words mean.






The Tigers will be able to make a hat from the  Cat in the Hat. They will practice coming up with words that rhyme.


The Tigers  will practice identifying the number 8 in English and Spanish. They will have the opportunity to identify the number in a number search.


The Tigers will practice identifying the letter A and it’s sound. They will have the opportunity to explore different 

centers. 


The Tigers will be able to  practice matching two pictures that are the same by playing a matching Dr. Seuss game.

The Tigers will be introduced to the letter A  with a few examples of words that begin with the letter and watch an Olive and the Rhyme video introducing them to more words that begin with the letter.  They will then trace the letter A with stickers.






The Tigers will get to do a number search and complete it together to focus on number 8. Then, they will practice tracing the number 8.


The Tigers will get to do a few worksheet activities focusing on the pentagon shape.


The Tigers will get to explore the sensory bin focusing on the grainy texture.


The Tigers will get to listen to their teacher read a book focusing on the theme  of the week (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)
