During the week of June 25th - 29th we reviewed the complete metamorphosis of a butterfly. We talked about the 4 stages of metamorphosis (Eggs, caterpillar, cocoon, and the adult stage butterfly). In the photographs below the students were outside as we helped the baby bobcats release their butterfly's, as well as releasing their butterfly's with the tigers later on in the week.

The tigers and Lions attempted to help the butterfly to fly away. Some friends insisted the butterfly needed some nectar to get energy to fly.

During the week we also started to decorate our board with various creations we created throughout the week. On the board are the 4 stages of metamorphosis for a butterfly as well as various sports balls that are for our current theme for the month of July, BALLS!
